is a big question mark. She dodged so many questions at her confirmation hearing, it was like she was never there to begin with. No clearer understanding of who she is was rendered.

One's education, erudition, or worldliness doesn't automatically grant authority over anything.

I'm seeing a lot of academics or so-called "woke" people touting how one candidate is as bad as the other - but their analysis ends there; no viable solutions, nothing that resonates with the masses, only a lot of witty talk. I say tactics and strategy excel literary and verbal jousts; the latter of which perpetually results in nothing.

Bastard, don't ever in your life think your fat, nasty ass can disrespect my sisters. You're vermin and I look forward to exterminating you with my vote.

“Show me in the white community where a singer is a white leader or a dancer or a trumpet player is a white leader. These aren’t leaders. These are puppets and clowns that have been set up over the Black community by the white community and have been made celebrities and, usually, they say exactly what they know the white man wants to hear.”–Malcolm X,

Brother Malcolm teaches us well - played himself.

Ice cube's is bullshit. There's a section in it that reads " while capitalism is a good system, it requires capital to participate." Capitalism is definitely NOT a good system, it's an abomination unto the Lord.

Regarding : I shunned the idea, years ago, of rappers having anything worthwhile to say politically.

I am not being tried for whether I am a Communist. I am being tried for fighting for the rights of my people, who are still second-class citizens in this United States of America.

Paul Robeson

I don't want to die and leave a few sad songs and a hump in the ground as my only monument. I want to leave a world that is liberated from trash, pollution, racism, nation-states, nation-state wars and armies, from pomp, bigotry, parochialism, a thousand different brands of untruth and licentious, usurious economics.

George Jackson

I don't like Twitter, but this seems like a good tweet to me:

I listened to a very little bit of the Senate confirmation hearing for Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett this morning. I tuned in when Ben Sasse was speaking; I turned the station soon after.

I found Sasse to be an annoying person, not someone I'd want to be around for any length of time. His talk of 8th grade civics classes turned me all the way off. It seemed too condescending, too patronizing. I get tired of not being able to relate to American politicians.

Dulama will be communicated - and not to please the so-called masters of culture, neither to assuage existing prejudices, nor to evoke illusions.

What I offer are particles of analysis, indictments, poems, and prayers.

America is an under-developed (third world) country with good PR.
